Bill quickly discovered that real estate was a full time, professional business. While working a full time job, Bill turned his attention to investing in real estate on a part time basis. He succeeded in purchasing and selling over $2,000,000 in real estate when prices were at late 1970's - mid 1980's prices.
Real Estate investing allowed him to set aside sufficient assets to quit his full time job and returned to real estate sales where he quickly became the top agent in the small firm he joined.
In 1987 Bill decided to open his own real estate brokerage firm. Within 6 short years his company had attracted the attention of other small companies who desired to merge with Bill and his team.
Bill's firm was growing at a phenominal rate considering the real estate crash of the early 90's was in full swing. In 1993 he decided to purchased a national franchise.
That same year his firm overtook the long time "number one" company in his market. The year following the purchase of the national franchise Bill was recognized by the national and regional offices of the franchise as being the fastest growing new franchises in the COUNTRY!
At its peak Bill's firm produced 42% more production than his closest competitor with 53% of the number of agents that same company.
During this same period of time Bill served as president of his local REALTOR association, Chair of his local multiple listing service, served on several committees. He was also recognized as REALTOR of the Year. AND Bill was twice voted Sales Associate of the Year by his Association.
